We’re Cordes Brothers Towing - Transport - Roadside, and we’re the premier towing service in Manteno, IL. We specialize in towing, roadside assistance, and transportation. Our services include tire changes, fuel delivery, lockouts, jump starts, winch outs, and more. We're proud to also offer a variety of specialized services, including motorcycle towing, long-distance towing, and emergency towing. Our Story

Cordes Brothers Towing – Transport – Roadside is the definition of a dedicated, locally-owned family business. Clayton and Richelle Cordes started Cordes Brothers Towing – Transport – Roadside after they were involved in a hit and run motorcycle accident that left Clayton unable to return to his previous career. Clayton and Richelle turned their misfortune around and created Cordes Brothers Towing — now the whole family is involved and deeply passionate about the work they do. Clayton and Richelle know how it feels to be in a stressful situation due to an auto accident and are dedicated to reducing that stress for their customers.

Established in 2018, Cordes Brothers Towing – Transport – Roadside is the family-owned, hometown favorite for all of your auto recovery, transport, and towing needs. We are fully licensed and insured and offers services including winching, fuel and gas delivery, roadside assistance, transportation services, and more.

We have built a reputation for our exceptional towing and roadside repair services, and our scope is rapidly expanding to take on more projects. We use a soft strapping system in our shop to ensure vintage and race cars are handled gently with no chance of damage. Not only does Cordes Brothers Towing – Transport – Roadside offer full-service towing for individuals, but also for dealerships, body shops, auto auctions, and more. There is no job our dedicated staff cannot handle. We even offer credit card payment roadside so there are no extra demands on you. Our number one priority is making the roadside repair and tow seamless so that you can safely get back to your day.

Somehow I put my truck in four-wheel-drive and was unable to get it out of four-wheel-drive. I was at the state park at 5 PM on a Sunday – the sun was going down and knew no one around who I could call for help. Cordes brothers were closest, so I gave them a call. Clayton answered the phone and was so kind and calm, I immediately felt less panicked. I told him I would need a tow and was at the state park by the ranger station. He asked me what was going on and when I told him, he said I think I can help you over the phone! He walked me through how to disengage the four-wheel-drive, and in under five minutes I was rolling like normal! I asked him how I could reimburse him for his help and he adamantly refused any money. He said he was glad to help and he was glad that I sounded calmer & told me to enjoy the rest of the weekend. Cordes Brothers Towing will always be remembered fondly! These guys are the real deal!

8/25/25 I was on my way to Wisc, my car started to make some weird noises. I decided to turn around and come home. When in Lincolnshire I felt it was better to get towed home so I didnt do anymore damage, cuz I have no clue. Had a great experience with Cordes Brothers Towing this morning. My car had been sitting for a couple months and the battery was completely dead. After calling around, most companies quoted the same price, but Cordes Brothers stood out because they took the time to ask what was wrong, explained that newer cars don’t always jump easily, and offered to try jumping it before towing…at no extra cost. They even called 10 minutes before arriving (which I appreciated since my household was still asleep), and didn’t tack on a credit card fee like other companies. They weren’t the closest option, but their professionalism, honesty, and extra effort make them my go-to for future towing needs.
